A recent poll taken by YouGov revealed literary jobs as being the most desirable occupation. A grand total of 14,294 adults took part in the survey and had many occupations thrown at them, voting them as desirable (would do for a living) or undesirable (wouldn’t). Careers such as lawyer, chef, farmer, train driver etc. were voted upon, and a huge 54% of people viewed librarian as a desirable choice, only second to author at 60%.
